Advertising Sales/business Development Manager

Job Description

Job Responsibilities: 1. Develop a strategic plan to achieve revenue goals; hit or exceed individual and team revenue goals.2. Identify key areas of growth, and develop new business with media agencies, partners, sales reps and direct clients in Southeast Asia.3. Maintain and grow key accounts within assigned markets and industry verticals.4. Develop and maintain strong active relationships with key client stakeholders at both senior and mid-management levels.5. Ideally has an in-depth knowledge of the industry and of the direct buying and biddable media marketplace.6. Plan, coordinate, and drive sales activities, including management of the sales pipeline, for defined territories/verticals.7. Establish an executable strategy for specific pipeline development that supports the sales objectives.8. Actively involved in all phases of the sales lifecycle including identifying and developing leads, meetings with clients, developing value propositions, financial deal structuring, contract negotiation, deal closing, post-campaign reporting to billing and payment.9. Monitor regional/ in-market trends on monetization to identify best practices, and achieve optimal results and innovation.10. Support the Head of Sales Southeast Asia to achieve or exceed team sales targets and business goals.11. Regional SEA media sales experience and programmatic advertising sales experience preferred.Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree or above, over 8 years of regional media sales experience in programmatic advertising, sponsorship, video/OTT.2. Possesses a strong understanding of the broadcast and OTT/video industry, programmatic advertising ecosystem, developments, and trends in the region.3. Established regional network and strong relationships with direct advertisers, media agencies, partners, and sales reps in Southeast Asia.4. Demonstrated track record of establishing and scaling regional ad spending and revenue growth.5. Proven success in a fast-paced and fast-changing environment.6. Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, ability to grasp product knowledge, resourceful, independent, strategic, and able to multi-task and respond effectively to customer needs are highly desirable traits.7. Excellent communication skill in English is mandatory. Proficiency in Mandarin would be advantageous as it would be necessary to communicate with Mandarin-speaking partners.8. Business travel will be required.
