Position : Aesthetics Aide (Part-time)

Contract period : 18 Mar 24 \xe2\x80\x93 30 Nov 24

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:

• Mondays to Fridays: 7:30am to 3 pm, inclusive of 45 mins lunch break

• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

• Service is not required on School Holidays, unless required by the school. If services are required on School Holidays, the personnel will be notified at least 3 days in advance.

Note: The personnel will only be paid on days the services are rendered.

The Personnel shall be competent to perform the following:

• Providing support for the day-to-day operations in school\xe2\x80\x99s Aesthetics (Art/Music/Dance/PAL) Rooms.

• Assisting in classroom setup and preparation of materials/resources and maintaining a clean and organised rooms. For instance, clearing & cleaning equipment and resources after activities and lessons:

o Music instruments (Ukelele, etc.)

o Art Supplies (Brushes, Palettes, etc.) and Studio Tools (Sculpting tools, Pottery wheels, Carving tools)

o Work Surfaces (Tables etc.)

o Storage Area for Music instruments and Art Supplies

o Drying racks or areas for finished artworks

• Providing support for setting up and tearing down of Art Exhibitions and student artworks displays in school.

• Preparing equipment and resources for Aesthetics activities, performances and events.

• Monitoring and taking stock of department\xe2\x80\x99s materials/ equipment for replenishment purposes.

• Keeping track of department\xe2\x80\x99s equipment, materials and resources for loan.

• Checking of materials, resources and equipment that are delivered to the school by vendors.

• Assisting teachers & students during lessons & aesthetics-related activities and ensuring safety procedures are adhered to.

• Assisting in Art CCA administrative duties assigned by Head of Department (PAM/CCA) / Aesthetics representatives.

• Any other school administrative duties assigned by the School Leaders / Administration Manager / Head of Department (PAM/CCA) / Aesthetics representatives

The Personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

• Minimum GCE O/N Levels or ITE NITEC/Higher NITEC certification

• Should have at least 2 years relevant experience in a school environment. Salary ranges from $1,800 - $2,000 per month depending on qualifications and relevant working experience.

• Passionate and has an eye for art.

• Possess basic IT knowledge and skills (e.g. Microsoft Office)

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Able to multi-task

• Good team player with a high level of initiative
