Content Lab \xe2\x80\x93 the content marketing unit of SPH Media \xe2\x80\x93 is looking for an Affiliate Marketing Assistant Editor to join its growing team. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for creating always-on shopping content with preferred external merchant partners. This content will be published across our portfolio of lifestyle titles, including Her World, The Singapore Women\xe2\x80\x99s Weekly, Hardwarezone, Home & Decor, and more.

In this role you\xe2\x80\x99ll work with a wide variety of merchants across the home, tech, fitness, health, entertainment and family categories. You should be performance-focused, skilled at making data-driven decisions and seeking out new opportunities based on content trends. This position will report to the Affiliate Marketing Associate Director.

Experience in content creation / lifestyle editorial is mandatory. You must know what the audience wants \xe2\x80\x93 and how best to create it.

Responsibilities include:

• Pitch, write and edit 4 to 5 original shopping-focused pieces of content weekly
• Craft effective social media copy
• Managing freelancers to create content that is on-brief and timely
• Develop content strategies to achieve reach and CTR goals
• Track performance of content to inform and execute new areas of growth to increase affiliate marketing revenue
• Stay on top of the latest deals and work with our preferred retailers to plan for sale events and upcoming launches
• Use SEO tools and industry knowledge to help strategise next step
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to respond to insights and opportunities
• Ensure content fits each SPH Media platform\xe2\x80\x99s voice and style
• Comply with media law and ethical guidelines

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience creating lifestyle content at a digital-first outlet \xe2\x80\x93 strong preference for candidates with a background in consumer-focused content
• A sharp writer with strong editing skills. Well-versed in explaining complex topics in simple terms. You must know what makes content work
• Able to understand analytics and translate them into editorial action \xe2\x80\x94 familiarity with Google Analytics, Skimlinks, or similar reporting tools is a plus
• Proven track record of meeting performance targets in the digital content space
• Detail-oriented and a gift for multitasking to meet the demands of always-on content creation and aggressive deadlines
• Experience with content management systems such as Wordpress and Drupal, a plus
• Excellent command of the English language, written and verbal
• Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent experience
• Must play well with others
