Job Description

Our Student Care Centres provide a caring, conducive and safe environment for children whose parents are unable to look after them during the day because of work commitments. Creating a stable home-away-from-home environment at each centre is important as students can spend their time meaningfully and be positively nurtured in their mental well-being. Such an environment also provides opportunities for the students to develop socially, morally, emotionally and intellectually.

Job Scope

• Responsible for the children\xe2\x80\x99s well-being and safety at all times
• Assist and guide the children with their daily school work
• Plan and conduct character development programmes and activities to support the holistic development of the children
• Maintain discipline and classroom management while engaging the children in fun developmental activities and learning lessons
• Responsible for responding to parent queries at the centre.

• Minimum O Level, with preferably 1 year of relevant work experience (fresh graduates are welcome to apply too!)
• Enjoys working with children aged 6-12 years
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Responsible, self-motivated, and able to work well in a team setting
• Able to work in a systematic and organised manner with attention to detail
• Passionate and patient about working with children to provide an environment of care in an after-school care setting

• Location of workplace: Newton (10minutes walk away from MRT station)
• Working hours: Monday to Friday - 10:30am to 7pm (no need to work on weekends)
• 2 years contract (any possibility of conversion to a permanent role will be dependent on the individual\xe2\x80\x99s performance)
