This role offers a unique opportunity to be a foundational part of this mission. The

AI Data Specialist (Trainee)

will play a critical, hands-on role in the most challenging phase of AI deployment: making client data AI-ready. You will directly support the design and deployment lifecycle of our custom solutions, ensuring that the legacy data systems of our SME clients are successfully transformed and integrated into modern, high-performance AI architectures.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary focus will be on the vital task of preparing and migrating client data to enable the functionality of our Agentic AI solutions.

Legacy Data Migration:

Serve as the primary driver for migrating clients' legacy data systems (e.g., outdated databases, file shares) into structured, modern formats suitable for AI consumption.

Data Understanding & Schema Design:

Collaborate with the Senior Data Engineer (AI) and clients to perform deep data profiling, understand existing data models, and design optimized

target schemas

for new AI-centric databases.

AI Data Readiness:

Prepare, clean, and pre-process unstructured and structured data specifically for use with

Large Language Models (LLMs)

, including text chunking and metadata generation.

Vector Database Integration:

Convert, index, and load data into

Vector Databases

to support

Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

architectures, enabling semantic search and context retrieval for our custom AI agents.

Documentation:

Maintain meticulous documentation of data sources, migration logic, schema definitions, and data quality checks.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

Required Technical Competencies

Programming & Automation:

Proficiency in

Python

/

JavaScript

and standard data manipulation libraries, particularly

Pandas, NumPy

. Comfortable writing code to solve repetitive data problems across multiple languages and platforms.

Database:

Strong command of

SQL

for complex database querying, manipulation, and effective schema design. Understanding of

relational database

Cloud Awareness:

Basic understanding of

Cloud Concepts

like managed databases, object storage, and cloud services is helpful.

Connectivity:

Experience with

API integration

(REST/SOAP) to connect and ingest data from various client systems and third-party tools.

Technical Foundations:

Basic usage of

Git/Github

for version control as well as familiarity with

Linux Environment

Work Arrangement:
