About Oncoshot

Oncoshot is a federated data company transforming oncology research by enabling secure, privacy-preserving collaboration between cancer institutions and pharmaceutical partners. Our Federated Data Platform connects real-world patient data across institutions without moving or exposing sensitive information.

We are expanding our AI team in Singapore to strengthen our privacy-preserving machine learning and data infrastructure capabilities.

Role Overview

We are looking for a

Python Engineer

who thrives on solving complex data and AI challenges. You will work directly under the CTO on initiatives that ensure privacy, reliability, and scalability of AI solutions within Oncoshot's federated ecosystem.

This role offers exposure to cutting-edge work in

PII masking, real-time data pipelines, LLM validation, and AI governance

.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and deploy

a transformer-based model for PII data masking across clinical datasets.

Build and maintain

real-time data pipelines between partner cancer institutions and Oncoshot's Federated Platform.

Design validation frameworks

for evaluating and monitoring the accuracy and consistency of LLM-based outputs.

Contribute to AI governance and security

, ensuring compliance with internal and external data protection requirements.

Participate in code reviews

and ensure high-quality, well-tested, and maintainable code.

Collaborate closely

with other engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders to deliver production-grade AI tools.

Requirements

2+ years of hands-on Python experience

, including OOP and async programming. Strong

discipline for unit testing

and passion for handling edge cases. Familiarity with

ML model evaluation metrics

(precision, recall, F1, R, etc.).

GitHub

workflow experience (branches, pull requests, code reviews). Working knowledge of

Hugging Face

,

JIRA/Confluence

, and

VS Code

. Solid organizational skills and ability to

switch between multiple active projects

. Bonus: Background in
