We collaborate with the business teams to harness the full potential of Industry 4.0 - Real-time control, IoT, Big Data and Analytics, Automation and Artificial Intelligence to support \xe2\x80\x9cFactory Digital Intelligent\xe2\x80\x9d initiative, to make better decision and maximize operational excellence.We are looking for people who are curious, inventive, smart, hardworking, and work to be a little better every day.About the Role:You will work with our Data Scientist and Data Engineers to research and develop smart factory platform, powered by machine learning, that can provide the following capabilities:

• Detection of fault and performance degradation
• Prediction of process/equipment KPOVs

You will have the chance to drive meaningful impact at Seagate by designing, building, tuning, and deploying machine learning models that help reduce capital spending and operational cost.About YouWe are looking for candidates who are highly passionate about data science and want to apply AI/machine learning/deep learning techniques to solve real-word problems.

• Self-motivated, independent and a team player with strong analytical skills
• Good at Python programming
• Familiarity with AI Machine learning techniques, frameworks, and libraries.
• Bachelor or master\'s students in Computer science, computer engineering

Location:Our Woodlands site is one of the largest electronics manufacturing sites in Singapore, housing our recording media operations. Spread over three sites, it is easily accessible via bus or from the MRT Station, with many employees taking mass transportation to work.
