About our group:

We are a team of IT (Information Technology) professionals from Seagate. We are responsible for creating and implementing data-driven solutions to support business decisions and operations. The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) allows for real-time data analysis and decision-making, predictive maintenance, and the optimization of production processes. We collaborate with the business teams to harness the full potential of Industry 4.0 - Real-time control, IoT, Big Data and Analytics, Automation and Artificial Intelligence to support the \xe2\x80\x9cSmart Factory\xe2\x80\x9d initiative, to make better decisions and maximize operational excellence.

About the role - you will:

Automatic Root Cause Analysis (ARCA) can be defined as the process through which one can find the true cause of a problem through the analysis of data without human intervention.

You will work with our Data Scientists and Data Engineers to develop automatic root cause analysis (ARCA) solution in manufacturing and have the chance to drive meaningful impact at Seagate by designing, building, tuning, and deploying machine learning models that help reduce capital spending and operational cost. You will:

• Collect, process, and clean large datasets from various sources
• Develop predictive models and algorithms to support Root Cause analysis
• Analyze and interpret complex data to identify patterns, trends, and insights
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement experiments to validate hypotheses

About you:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor\'s/Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related fields
• Highly passionate about data science
• Keen interest in applying artificial intelligence/machine learning/deep learning techniques to solve real-word problems
• Proactive and a good team player
• Strong analytical skills

Your experience includes:

• Proficiency in Python programming
• Familiarity with AI machine learning techniques, frameworks, and libraries
