What you'll achieve

As a Technical Staff AI Platform Engineer, you will be a senior technical leader responsible for shaping and driving the architecture of Dell's AI platform. You will lead the design of core platform capabilities that enable scalable AI development across multiple product lines. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong architectural vision, and the ability to influence engineering teams to deliver high-quality, future-ready AI infrastructure.

You will:

Define and own the technical architecture for Dell's AI platform, ensuring scalability, security, and operational excellence. Drive cross-team initiatives to deliver platform capabilities that support advanced AI workloads (e.g., LLM training/inference, multi-modal systems). Lead technical execution of complex platform projects, resolving challenges that span multiple engineering teams and product lines. Evaluate and introduce new technologies to improve platform performance, reliability, and developer productivity. Mentor senior engineers and provide architectural guidance across multiple teams. Collaborate with product management and solution architects to ensure platform capabilities align with Dell's product strategy.

Essential Requirements

Master's degree in Computer Science or related field with 15+ years of experience in distributed systems, cloud-native platforms, or AI/ML infrastructure. Proven experience in architecting and delivering large-scale platforms in production environments. Deep expertise in Kubernetes/OpenShift, container orchestration, and cloud-native technologies. Strong understanding of AI/ML lifecycle and infrastructure requirements for large-scale workloads. Ability to influence technical direction across multiple teams and drive alignment on architectural decisions.

Desirable Requirements

Experience building platforms optimized for Generative AI or agent-based systems. * Contributions to internal or open-source projects in AI or cloud-native ecosystems.
