Your wealth of expertise will be pivotal in elevating our existing tools and pioneering achievements, particularly within the realm of Language Model techniques. Delivering into the ethical nuances of AI, you\'ll ensure our innovations are upheld to the highest ethical standards.   • Lead pioneering research endeavours, driving development of cutting-edge AI/LLM concepts, tools and algorithms
  • Architect and refine AI models with precision, optimizing for peak performance, seamless scalability, and operational efficacy
  • Design and orchestrate comprehensive experiments to meticulously evaluate and juxtapose the performance of diverse AI models and methodologies
  • Forge strategic alliances with academic and industry luminaries, collaborating to solve AI problems and craft bespoke AI solutions tailored to intricate domain challenges
  • Utilize and develop advanced algorithms for processing and analysing complex datasets
  • Cultivate an intellectual ecosystem, staying at the forefront of AI innovation through active engagement in premier conferences and workshops
Requirements
  • Extensive understanding of fundamentals of deep learning and AI algorithms including deep nonlinear and nonconvex optimization, and generally a mathematical command of advanced AI concepts
  • Extensive understanding of calculus of manifolds and its applied on AI algorithms such as SGD, subgradient methods, transformer architectures, random matrix theory, compression techniques, to name a few
  • Theoretical understanding and practical experience with CNNs, RNNs, transformers, GNNs, PINNs, equivariant neural networks, and generally core deep learning principles
  • Track record of publishing papers in top-tier AI conferences and journal such as NeurIPS, AAAI, ICML, ICLR
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the intricacies of self-attention/transformer architectures and their contemporary refinements, including nuanced fine-tuning techniques like LoRA, as well as techniques like RAG and its variants
  • Strong insight into the multifaceted challenges inherent in AI algorithms encompassing intricate domains such as valleys of local minima, convergence properties, interpretability and explainability, and output evaluation
  • Commanding expertise in programming languages and frameworks intrinsic to AI development, including, PyTorch as well nonlinear nonconvex optimization libraries. Julia and MATLAB experience is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to independently drive research projects from inception to completion with the required mathematical rigor
