What the role is:You lead a team of Artificial Intelligence (AI) developers to build prioritised AI products.What you will be working on:On this, you manage AI developers in product teams and can be deployed forward to provide support to the respective entities when required. You also maintain relationships with the internal and external partners to foster AI collaboration and advance the Digital and Intelligence Services\' (DIS) goals. You need to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AI and Machine Learning (ML) technology so as to proactively identify, initiate and promulgate worthwhile engineering projects that could be maximised in similar use cases across the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF). Your challenge lies in having in-depth understanding of AI/ML and languages like Python, and experience with data structures and algorithms. You need to stay acquainted with the latest AI/ML technologies and have a deep understanding of their application and impact to ensure that the deployment of such tools is beneficial to the SAF.What we are looking for:You must have a tertiary qualification in quantitative, scientific and technology disciplines such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science and Analytics with at least 8 years\' relevant working experience. Having a deep understanding of AI/ML, such as supervised and unsupervised learning, neural networks and deep learning, as well as hands-on experience working with current AI tools like TensorFlow and PyTorch, is required. Being able to multi-task and work under stressful environment is required. In addition, possession of strong leadership traits, good planning abilities and communication skills is essential.
