Job Description
: The potential Spray Painter shall paint and/or strip aircraft, assemblies, and parts, within estimated time and in accordance with applicable policies and/or regulations and customer work instructions without deviation. Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare aircraft for washing, stripping, painting and polishing.
- Mix and apply paints in various quantities.
- Set up and operate various types of paint spraying equipment.
- Follow all applicable specifications to accomplish a specific task.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Perform work within estimated hours.
- Follow all safety procedures and specifications.
- Execute all required paperwork in connection with assigned normal duties.
- Use and operate ground support equipment, as applicable and if qualified, in a a safe manner.
- Work with little or no supervision and accomplish assignments with little or no rework.
- Interface effectively with members of management, other departments, and co-workers.
- Minimum GCE \'O\' level certificate or equivalent
- At least five (5) years\xe2\x80\x99 experiences in aircraft painting or industrial automotive paint environment
- Prior attendance in basic painting course, ITE qualification or equivalent, possess aircraft or automobile painting experience will be an advantage
- Ability to understand spoken & written English instruction Working Location: Seletar Aerospace Park
