Detailed Duties & responsibilities
1. Safety
To be conversant with CHIPS HSSE Policies and IMP.
Execute all activities ensuring compliance to Company\'s HSSE Policies and Management System.
To adhere all Company\'s HSSE Systems and Programs such as Loss Prevention System (LPS) and Smith Driving System.
2. Quality Control
To carry out daily quality control checks on fuel in mobile fueling equipment. This include appearance, visual, dirt, capsule water detector tests and draining and flushing of fueling equipment until satisfactory results are obtained.
To carry out milipore samplings periodically on mobile fueling equipment.
To carry out product quality checks during aircraft fueling and upon customers\' request to show record for product temperature and density. To collect, label and keep product retention samples correctly.
To make out aviation delivery receipt and certify product delivered is of the correct quantity and passed fuel appearance and visual quality checks.
3. Equipment and Fueling Operations
To carry out daily mobile equipment serviceability checks including checking and topping up engine oil, fuel, radiator and battery water.
Serviceability checks also include equipment like lights, horns, wipers, engine, chassis, pumps, filters, pipes, couplings / nozzles, valves, bonding, Deadman controls, brake interlocks, fire extinguishers, hoses, emergency shut-off system and filter water separators / monitors. To request any maintenance when necessary, so that equipment is in a state of readiness.
To drive mobile fueling equipment and handle them safely in accordance with safe practices and CAG Apron Regulations.
To operate mobile fueling equipment in accordance with procedures and to monitor and control the fueling operation in an efficient and safe manner. He is aided by gauges indicating proper functioning of the equipment.
To start and stop fueling as instructed by the airline representative.
To carry out weekly serviceability checks on equipment such as reading and recording pressure differential of filter water separator / monitor and interlock checks.
To carry periodic checking and testing of fueling equipment such as hose end strainers, testing of PCVs.
To wash and clean mobile equipment.
4. Documentation
To prepare Aviation delivery receipts and ensure that particulars and information are correctly stated and to get airline representatives endorsement.
To record daily serviceability checks and periodic testing results on the appropriate documents.
To report faults and defects on equipment promptly to duty foremen and for maintenance follow up.
