Your Mission
As an Airport Emergency Officer (Specialist), saving lives and minimizing property losses are your core mission. Equipped with in-depth aviation firefighting skills, you are an indispensable member of a specialized team required to perform rescue and firefighting operations during an emergency. Your responsibilities include ensuring the operational effectiveness of the firefighting unit under your supervision and operating advanced fire vehicles/vessels and specialized firefighting equipment.
To prepare you for your role, we will provide you with a comprehensive 3-month Basic Airport Fire Fighter training. This training will cover the fundamental principles of firefighting and equip you with the necessary skills and techniques to handle aircraft incidents or accidents in accordance with the requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
Following that, you will participate in a 1-month Airport Fire Officer course, which will enhance leadership skills for small team tactics.
Upon completing your training, you will be assigned to an airport fire station, where you will put your technical expertise to the test and gain valuable operational experience. As part of your job rotation, you may also be posted to other airport fire stations or military airbases, providing you with a diverse range of experiences and challenges.

Note: Selection and interview process will begin in February 2024. Course intake will commence in August 2024.
Candidates who meet the above requirements and demonstrate exceptional dedication, teamwork skills, and problem-solving abilities will be given preference during the selection process.
