Job Description
Responsibilities: * Supervise a group of Junior Fire Officers in the areas of fire vehicle operation, life preservation and minimization of property loss at an aircraft incident/accident site * Responsibilities: Supervise a group of Junior Fire Officers in the areas of fire vehicle operation, life preservation and minimization of property loss at an aircraft incident/accident site Operate sophisticated firefighting and rescue equipment and vehicles Plan and maintain the operational effectiveness of the unit under his/her charge Ensure appropriate operational standards, procedures and operating practices are established and maintained Organize and implement fire safety awareness and emergency preparedness programmes Maintain operational readiness and effectiveness by passing the Airport Firefighter Fitness Test (AFFT) annually Requirements: Diploma from a local Polytechnic Strong inclination for rescue work Physically and medically fit with good eyesight in order to lead team of emergency officers to respond and mitigate emergencies at the aerodrome (you will be required to undergo a physical fitness assessment if shortlisted) Self-disciplined and composed under pressure Leadership qualities as well as good communication and writing skills Candidates with Class 3 driving license would be preferred Willing to perform shift duties No experience required
