Key responsibilities include
o Own the deployment of Alibaba overseas data center.
o Partner with several stakeholders such as capacity planning, engineering, operation, procurement and finance team to ensure the successful delivery of infrastructure.
o Manage multiple vendors to track progress, identify risks and solve problems throughout the project. Be responsible for the project delivery in targeted schedule, cost and quality.
o Own initiatives to standardize global process of project management and improve the deployment methodologies to optimize the schedule.
o Identify defects or waste in our deployment processes, and drive new processes and software automation to eliminate the defects and prevent them from recurring without posing risk to availability.

Position Requirement

Minimum Qualifications
? 5+ years experience managing projects in data centers or comparable critical infrastructure.
? 5+ years experience in Construction or Project Management.
? 5+ years experience in Vendor Management
? Excellent written composition and verbal communication skills.
? High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
? Ability to think and react in a high energy, fast paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
? Master's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or a related technical discipline.
? Expertise in one or more of the following areas: large colocation deals, site selection for industrial-scale projects, real estate evaluation, acquisition, development, and construction, negotiating or managing utility agreements, financial modeling.
? Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs, evaluate new ideas with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
? Proven track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects.
? Excellent problem-solving skills.
? Excellent written and verbal communications across technical and non-technical stakeholders and experience presenting to senior executives.
? Significant experience successfully delivering results in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
