Global Asset Management, the investment management business of the HSBC Group, serves HSBC\xe2\x80\x99s worldwide customer base of retail and private clients, intermediaries, corporates and institutions invested in both segregated accounts and pooled funds. Global Asset Management fulfills its purpose of connecting HSBC\xe2\x80\x99s clients with investment opportunities around the world through an international network of offices in approximately 30 countries, delivering global capabilities with local market insight.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Alternatives Product Delivery Manager.

Principal Responsibilities

• The role is to support the delivery of new products and product management projects for HSBC Asset Management Alternatives business in Singapore, covering all Alternatives strategies both direct and indirect, including but not limited to: Real Estate, Private Markets, Private Debt, Venture Capital and Hedge Funds
• Work with the Product Development and Management teams to deliver new Alternative products and product management projects in an efficient and timely manner
• Provide ownership for the project and be responsible for the delivery of key Alternative initiatives
• Responsible for creating project timelines and critical deliverables and ensuring that all parties meet the agreed deadlines
• Responsible for the mechanics of the product launch process
• Seek efficiencies in the process in order to improve the timeliness of delivery
• Present and facilitate review and approval of new products with the Board
• Establish global best practice for product delivery from a technical and governance perspective
• Help increase local expertise in the delivery of Alternative products in Singapore
• Provide support and advice in respect of the build out of the offshore Alternative product support team in Bangalore
• Ensure that new products, product features and associated documentation meet our FIM standards
• Awareness of the Operational Risk scenario associated with the role and act in a manner that takes account of operational risk considerations
• Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators

Requirements

• Ability to demonstrate significant previous project management and product delivery experience at an established Alternatives asset manager
• Specific knowledge of the Alternatives space would be advantageous
• Familiarity with the ESG regulatory landscape and some understanding of sustainability risk would be advantageous
• Self-starter, who takes ownership, works with minimal supervision and can deliver the right solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, an ability to communicate with impact
• Ability to build on cross border relationships with various stakeholders and use skills gained from working in different jurisdictions
• Ability to plan, prioritise and manage multiple complex initiatives (at different levels of granularity)
• Independent thinker who has an enquiring mindset
• Drive, energy and eager to progress in the role
• Proficient at using monday.com
• Professional project management qualification (or a willingness to study for one) preferable i.e., PRINCE2
