Job Description

Imperium Commodity Search is working with a global aluminium producer looking to add an aluminium alloy sales person / trader to the team in Singapore, focused on the Japanese markets.
Duties & Responsibilities:

• Build a book of customers/clients for aluminium alloy products (heat treatable and non-heat treatable) and the sale/supply of aluminium / aluminum alloys to the end users/customers
• Represent the firm, its products and technical specifications at client meetings/presentations and conferences
• Keep up to date with aluminium market news/commentary and relay this to internal teams to ensure smooth trade process and capitalisation of opportunities in the region
• Work closely with internal marketing teams on providing best in class service/needs matching with customers and end users of aluminium / aluminum alloys
• Assist in logistics/trade processing to ensure quality and timely service to clients

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years' experience in aluminum / aluminium alloys sales to the Asian markets (ideally Japan)
• Good knowledge of logistics / INCOTERMS and other relevant middle/back-office functions
• Strong ability to build rapport with clients and senior management
• Fluent in English and Japanese
