If you have the qualities and drive to lead yourself or teams, there are roles ready to cultivate your skills and take you to the next level. : Job Responsibility The purpose/role of the HCC (Healthcare Command Center) Supervisor is to support the primary mission of the Command Center which is to safeguard the well-being of critical healthcare shipments entrusted to UPS' care. They have the responsibility to: Provide disrupted shipment resolution to advance, protect or return at-risk shipments Provide critical shipment oversight for select customers to ensure optimal movement progress for on-time delivery or an acceptable alternative The HCC Supervisor will serve as the primary liaison between the Command Center and the local operations across AMEA (Asia Pacific, Middle-East & Africa), providing coordination, site collaboration, reinforced visibility, healthcare socialization, direct interventions, and post-sort issue management. He/She will respond to 3rd level escalations (within scope) received from UPS GBS Premier (Premier GOLD Healthcare shipments), UPS TOMs and European & US HCC. The HCC Supervisor is responsible to filter incoming escalations focusing on the most critical healthcare shipments. The incumbent will work closely as a team with 9 other colleagues to ensure all exceptions are resolved within the same day depending on the level of urgency for the escalations raised. He/She will be part of the UPS Healthcare Organization - Customer Solutions & Operations. Job Requirements Possess a Degree in Engineering, Logistics & Supply Chain or equivalent Possess role-related knowledge of supply chain operations, customs brokerage/clearance in AMEA will be advantageous Display ability to communicate professionally with internal customers across different management levels Able to work well with others as well as independently with minimal supervision Possess Healthcare/Healthcare Transportation industry experience is preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, IT programming knowledge will be a plus Proficient in English minimally and preferably in 1 to 2 other Asian languages to communicate with AMEA stakeholders This role is based in Singapore.
