About the role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a high caliber professional to join Citco\'s AML/CDD Team as we continue to invest in our Singapore office. The AML/CDD SVP, in conjunction with regional AML/CDD EVP, is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction of the local AML/CDD Team and AML control framework within which the firm should operate.

This role requires strong regulatory knowledge of both local, Cayman and FATF requirements together with an appreciation of industry practice and a desire to strive for operational alpha. The successful candidate will support the Global AML leadership team in the delivery of a best in class AML service.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• You will demonstrate an ability to take on a multi-faceted role, leading and managing an AML/CDD team and delivery high quality service to our clients.
• You will coach, develop and provide guidance to local AML team while creating an environment that motivates, rewards, and supports the team.
• You will encourage teams to be proactive in identifying potential issues and escalate where appropriate.
• You will communicate Citco\'s organizational vision and goals to teams in addition to reviewing department goals.
• You will provide oversight to and act as an escalation point for the local AML team that their day-to-day duties are completed accurately, timely and mitigate against risk.
• You will support the team to ensure that projects are planned, coordinated and seen through to completion.
• You will play a key part in global and local initiatives interacting with other Citco global offices and technology groups and stay abreast of emerging financial crime trends including developments in technology/reg tech.
• You will maintain a thorough understanding of Citco systems and remain apprised of regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
• You will develop strong working relationships with Clients, MLRO\'s, shareholders, regulators, auditors and other external and internal parties as required, acting as primary point of escalation.
• You will interact directly with senior business management in a decision-making capacity in Singapore (and other applicable jurisdictions as applicable).

Qualifications and Experience:

• 8-10 years AML related work experience in a financial services institution, preferably Funds Industry;
• Excellent knowledge of AML Regulations and AML practice in Singapore and other jurisdictions such as Cayman Islands;
• Expertise and understanding of the Transfer Agency business and client servicing.
• Knowledge of regulations impacting the financial services
• AML, Compliance or other relevant qualification an advantage
• Demonstrated leadership experience coupled with superior communication skills (oral and written) with an ability to influence / persuade.
