Tasks
As the AMOS Software Developer you will perform the following duties:
Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, code comments and clear code.
Implement unit and functional tests to ensure the correctness of the written code.
Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code.
Provide third-level support to business users.
Produce technical documentation that is used as basis to prepare test cases, documentation and training exercises by recording all modifications in the change tracker.
Work closely together with colleagues in order to gain know-how of the application framework, the business processes and the application itself.

• Perform all other duties assigned or delegated by supervisors.

We are looking for a Software Developer to work with an agile development team in a guided way on a subset of AMOS modules by developing, implementing, and maintaining Java based components and interfaces.
Requirements
The ideal AMOS Software Developer must fulfill the following requirements:
Degree/diploma in software engineering, computer science, or related discipline.
Excellent English language, oral and written communications skills.
Hands-on experience in Java.
Experience in SQL.
Object oriented modelling and analysis skills.
Grasp of relational database modelling.
No professional experience required but internships or private development projects expected.
Effective teamwork and excellent interpersonal and communication capability skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask two to three simultaneous projects using strong organizational skills.
Highly proactive, independent and able to work under pressure.
