This means investing in talent, technologies, and tools that empower you to own your career.Join MUFG, where being inspired is expected and making a meaningful impact is rewarded.The DCM Associate is responsible for assisting clients in accessing global debt markets across both bonds and loans products and is also responsible for the support of the senior originators of the DCM Loans & Bonds team.Debt Capital Markets MandateDevelop a sustainable, client focused, flow oriented, primary markets origination business for MUFG clientsDevelop value-added direct DCM client relationships with bond and loan issuer clientsWork with relationship managers to develop/broaden the overall relationship with core clients by providing high quality support and product interface with regard to capital markets financing opportunitiesOrigination of debt transactions for issuance into global capital marketsYour role in contributing to this mandate will be (where applicable):Control and manage workflow and operations within loan and bond markets and syndicationsDeliver and grow a sustainable, client-focused, flow-oriented, primary and secondary business.Maximise profitability from leveraging and enhancing the Group\xe2\x80\x99s customer franchise.Work in partnership with Sales, Trading and Research in MUFG to deliver products that meet the needs of our clientsCollaborate with the relevant teams in other Group entities to advance the business globally.In all activities, protect and enhance the firm\xe2\x80\x99s and the Group\xe2\x80\x99s, reputation.Working in partnership with both origination and distribution teams within DCM to socialize views on market appetite, structuring and pricing relating to leveraged and acquisition financingExpand the size and diversity of the client-baseConduct business in line with regulatory requirements (including Volcker, EMIR and MIFID).Responsibilities include:Preparing high-quality pitchbooks and materials for client meetings and follow-upsProvide regular market and pricing updates for internal and external clientsPerform analytical work for client funding or corporate requirementProactively create trade ideas and new business proposals which meet our client\xe2\x80\x99s needsReact to client enquiries in a risk-sensitive manner, ensuring proposed solutions are appropriate for the client and meet the requirements of best executionEngage and build relationship with client working level teams to ensure smooth executionSupporting team DCM Loans and Bonds deal lead in internal approvals procesEnsure AML/KYC and compliance standards are met for all transactionsCoordinate between all internal and external stakeholders and deal team members to ensure smooth execution from mandate to deal closingDeal execution aspects includes due diligence, structuring, documentation, ratings, investor marketing, roadshow planning, settlement, post-mortemsRequirementsAt least 4 years of relevant origination and/or distribution experience in the regionUnderstanding of corporate lending and credit analysisFamiliarity with bond product would be an added advantageAnalytical background with strong attention to detailStrong stakeholder management skills to collaborate with other departmentsStrong interpersonal and networking skillsStrong communication skills with the ability to influence others and sell productsCandidates with less relevant experience will be considered as Analyst.MUFG Bank Ltd & MUFG Securities Asia Limited (collectively referred to as \xe2\x80\x9cMUFG\xe2\x80\x9d) is an equal opportunity employer.
