Based in Singapore, our client is a Japan focussed Real Estate Fund who are looking for an analyst in Singapore with immediate effect. The candidate will report to the Portfolio Manager and be primarily focused on leading the formulation and execution of investment strategy and fund management of the Japan Fund. The client is looking for an immediate starter or someone on a very short notice.Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Real Estate Analyst to join our newly established real estate team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in real estate analysis, strong analytical skills, and a keen interest in the Japanese real estate market. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the growth and success of the fund.Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research and Analysis:
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in the Japanese real estate market.
  • Analyze economic, demographic, and real estate data to support investment decisions.
  • Prepare detailed market reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Financial Analysis:
  • Perform financial modeling and valuation of potential real estate investments.
  • Analyze property financial statements, cash flow projections, and investment returns.
  • Assist in the preparation of investment proposals and business plans.
  • Due Diligence:
  • Conduct due diligence on potential acquisitions, including site visits, property inspections, and review of legal and financial documents.
  • Coordinate with external consultants and advisors to ensure thorough due diligence processes.
  • Portfolio Management:
  • Monitor the performance of existing real estate assets in the portfolio.
  • Assist in the preparation of asset management reports and performance analysis.
  • Support the development and implementation of asset management strategies.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including acquisitions, asset management, and finance, to support overall fund objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with external stakeholders, including investors, brokers, and property managers.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in real estate analysis, investment, or related roles.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Knowledge of the Japanese real estate market and regulatory environment is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in Japanese and English is highly desirable.
