About The Role
Are you prepared to support the origination and execution of M&A transactions? You'll participate in various stages of transaction execution, from the initial phase to closing.
At FTI Capital Advisors you'll work on the most challenging mandates within the rapidly transforming Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) landscape. Our strategically placed offices around the world offer opportunities to work on diverse international mandates and you will have significant client exposure and impact.
What You will Do
As an Investment Banking Intern, you will play an important role in supporting the origination and execution of M&A mandates and transactions, getting involved in certain stages from origination to closing. You'll help build business and financial models and perform valuation analyses using Excel. Furthermore, you will assist in designing and creating documents for client meetings covering strategic alternatives, M&A, and corporate finance. Conducting thorough research to gather project-specific information and synthesizing complex analyses into actionable conclusions will be essential aspects of your responsibilities.
This in-person and full time internship program will be running from mid-August 2025 until the end of the year.

What You Will Need To Succeed
Basic Qualifications

• Candidates with a bachelor's or master degree in accounting, business administration, finance or economics will be considered.
• Some experience in investment banking / corporate finance with leading firms
• Past transaction experience in M&A and capital markets is highly preferred.
• Sound understanding of Corporate Finance principles and methodologies, as well as key fundamental accounting principles.
• Fluency in English, with strong written and verbal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong financial modelling, analytical and overall advanced excel skills.
• Basic knowledge or interest in the Telecommunications, Media and Technology (TMT) industry.
