Business FunctionDBS Institutional Banking Group provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. Through our continued commitment, DBS has cultivated long-standing relationships with its customers in the region that are based on account relationship management, service differentiation, product development and rigorous credit standards.ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will support IBG Business, by effectively perform day-to-day operational activities to:-

• Process Corporate Loan Applications such as SME Working Capital Loans, Business Loans, Banker\xe2\x80\x99s Guarantees, Trade, Forex Exchange Lines, Overdraft Facilities, Commercial, HDB Shops & Industrial Property Loans and Equipment Financing (HP) and Corporate Credit Cards.
• Perform Accounting Spreads of Financial Statements.
• Conduct documentation checks on submitted Application Forms and Supporting Documents to ensure completeness.
• Read, analyse and interpret a variety of documents such as policies and procedures.
• Follow-up with Relationship Managers / Branch Officers on outstanding loan documentation / information.
• Perform data entry and checks in Credit System for Evaluation, Facilitation of auto-generation of Letters of Offer and updating of Bank\xe2\x80\x99s records.
• Work together with team members to ensure requests are processed promptly and according to the agreed Service Level Agreement.
• Liaise with other relevant Business Units for exceptional handling of requests.
• Create and maintain MIS database for operation records.
• Handle weekly and monthly MIS reports for the unit.
• Participate and support projects/initiatives, including User Acceptance Testing.

Requirements

• Degree / Diploma with at least 2 years of relevant working experience in the required fields.
• Good knowledge of Corporate Banking Products, Loans and Operations.
• Basic accounting knowledge to analyse Corporate Financial Statements.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office application.
• Motivated, strong attention-to-details skills, good organizational skills, able to multi-task and work under tight timeline.
• A team player, understands and strives towards a common team goal.
• Able to commit to working over-time.
