The Scheduling specialist will look at operationalising network plan by ensuring that desired schedule changes are implemented accurately and in a timely manner, and for all stakeholders and downstream systems to be informed of the schedule change.
Responsibilities:
Perform schedule changes and coordinate the schedule change process with other departments to ensure that all passengers are correctly rebooked and all relevant stakeholders are informed about the schedule change.
Ensure that schedules are correctly loaded into various downstream platforms
Handle passengers' re-accommodation based on established SOP and troubleshoot issues as and when they arise
Resolve system related issues, including providing business case for required enhancements
Regularly update and distribute operational and marketing schedules to internal and external stakeholders
Keep updated and share with team on system functions and process changes that can help with scheduling work
Provide support, as required, in regulatory matters including filing for seasonal and ad-hoc schedule permits. Assist with other regulatory work as required.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study (Numberical field of study, Business Administration, Science & Engineering)
A mature team player who is able to work well with other departments and stakeholders;
Strong presentation and verbal skills with the ability to deliver arguments clearly and confidently;
Able to work independently within a fast paced, target driven environment;
Pro-active attitude
Work Experience in network planning or scheduling related work will be an asset
Experience in travel industry will be an advantage
