The Analyst, Profitability, APAC main role is to facilitate timely and accurate reporting and analysis on franchisee restaurant profitability. The role works closely with all functional departments across APAC, inclusive of Field Support, Operations, Development, and Marketing Teams to provide visibility into current trends in profitability and identify outliers for further review and discussion with our franchisees to determine action plans to drive profitability.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor monthly and quarterly reporting by Franchisees and ensure timely and accurate submission
  • Identify and follow up with any franchisees finance organizations with questions on data outliers
  • Analyze restaurant profitability to provide key insights to Director, Profitability and Field Team General Managers on current trends and Franchisee focus areas
  • Create and present monthly reporting materials to field teams on current profitability trends by franchisee, region, division, and restaurant types for US and Canada
  • Benchmark metrics throughout regions and support Director, Profitability with ad hoc analysis and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Update financial forecast models based on monthly profitability inputs
  • Create & maintain Tableau dashboards that provide Field Support teams visibility in to profitability metrics, inclusive of P&L reporting, GP reporting, and initiative performance
Required Skills:
  • University degree in Business, Economics, Finance or a related field
  • 1-2 years of previous working experience
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with desire to learn and be challenged
  • Strong analytical, organizational and excel skills
  • Familiarity with Hyperion and Tableau is an asset
  • Highly proficient with MS Office applications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of the organization through various forms (oral presentation, powerpoint, etc.)
  • Ability to function effectively in a team environment and independently
  • Self-motivated and a self-starter
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while maintaining accuracy
