This includes physical products, logistics and technical support, as well as pricing and financing solutions.What you\'ll doThe Analyst - Risk Reporting is responsible for preparing and analysing a suite of risk reports to ensure that all trade, market risk exposures and mark to market P&Ls are known and monitored against the Company\'s appropriate governance frameworks and limits.This role is responsible for ensuring the integrity of the data in the systems that support commodity risk reporting, focusing on a range of commodities and financial instruments.The Analyst - Risk Reporting acts as the support to Specialist on day-to-day risk reporting matters.Safety, Health & Environment (required for all roles)We give our all to eliminating injuries because we value life and are unconditional about safety, health, and well-being at work and at home.

• Every Marketing Employee will spend time each quarter working on activity which supports Physical Health and Safety.

Performance & Delivery

• Generate (daily, weekly and monthly for internal management reporting) risk reports, including P&L and Exposure/Position using the implemented risk system. Ad-hoc reporting as requested by the Team Lead Risk Reporting, Global Risk Reporting Manager or Head of Commodity Risk.
• Providing assistance and support to the Front Office and Finance daily operational issues.
• Supporting the analysing of trading results, including P&L and volumes. The analysis can require a very high degree of technical competence, requiring advanced Excel and SQL knowledge.
• Supporting in validating and manage the accuracy of trade and reporting data in our CTRM systems (Aspect) and interfaces to the Risk systems.
• Monitor compliance of Front Office activities with the Marketing Risk Policy and escalate exceedances or breaches of limits in accordance with operating procedures. Assist in the reporting of credit risk and operational risk, where appropriate.
• Assisting in validating market data/commodity prices that go into the CTRM and Risk systems, to ensure accuracy of P&L reporting and invoice value. Perform calculation of Risk Metrics including, but not limited to VaR, Stress Testing and Back-testing for the physical and financial portfolios.
• Assist in the rolling out and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) of the CTRM and/or Risk system improvements.
• Support global Risk Reporting initiatives and regional business activities.
• Support ad-hoc duties

QualificationsWhat we\'re looking for

• 2 - 5 years of relevant experience
• Degree in finance, business or economics. Quantitative disciplines such as in engineering, mathematics etc will be viewed favourably as well.
• Numerate and attention to detail.
• Comfortable in working with systems and spreadsheets.
• Excellent problem-solving skills

Role-specific knowledge:

• Risk Control experience in a metal\'s commodity trading environment, which should include:

• P&L reporting
• Exposure/Position reporting
• Value at Risk (VaR) reporting
• Risk modelling experience in Excel/Access using VBA.
• Experience with Power BI is preferred.
• Knowledge of the calculations behind P&L and exposure calculations for both physical and financial commodity trades which includes options.
• The ability to build/review/amend Excel/VBA models, generate data warehouse queries in SQL. SQL experience is beneficial.
• This role is expected to interface with Risk team members in other regions as part of a seamless interface to the business and support Follow the Sun operations.
• Support global reporting initiatives and regional business activities.
