What the Internship Programme will look like

Our 12-week internship programme enables you to develop valuable professional skills and learn what it\xe2\x80\x99s like to work in a high-impact professional services organization. Gain technical and practical business skills to help you succeed in the future and have opportunities to network with other team members, managers and leaders. You will also benefit from real-world experience through opportunities to work on projects as well as participate in client meetings.

Our internship provides comprehensive training and the opportunity to secure a place on our graduate programme or a regular hire, subject to your performance and business need. A large proportion of our candidates go on to enjoy a career with us.

This programme is ideal for students who are in their penultimate year of university, but we also welcome first-year applicants.

Internship opportunities are available in:

Construction & Infrastructure

• Learn about construction techniques and gain insight into industry practices
• Maintain and contribute to the organization and filing of the practice documentation
• Support Construction & Infrastructure (C&I) directors and leaders in day to day operations
• Collaborate with the Construction, Power and Infrastructure (CPI) placement team and other Industry Specialties/Specialty Products, in particular with Natural Resources

Credit Solutions

• To support the Credit Solutions broker, in transaction analysis and client service (e.g. operational activities)
• To review, clean and update the new business pipeline
• To work on a pre-agreed project focused on an area of credit solutions that links to your prior experience (previous examples include, \'AI impact on credit solutions broking\')

Financial Services & Professions Group (Growth)

• To understand the basic fundamentals of the Financial Services & Professions Group (FSPG) solutions and broking workflow
• FSPG clients\xe2\x80\x99 profile and risk exposures
• Data management support
• Market research and data consolidation
• Compilation of collaterals for clients including presentation, reports and quotation slip

Marine

• Maintaining various databases, reporting engines and applications
• Performing data cleaning, data processing and data analysis, and preparing reports for consultants
• Help prepare underwriting/client reports and assist in broking administration
• Assisting in operational and administrative matters for the team and other ad-hoc request

Natural Resources

• Opportunity to learn with power generation insurance solution
• Update and maintain the power and renewable database
• Participate in client insurance discussion
• Assist in preparation of marketing material e.g. presentation deck
• Assist the account lead in all administrative and operational matters

Risk Consulting

• Assist in fire protection report reviews for commercial/energy/power clients
• Assist in analysis of engineering fire protection standards
• Assist in collating safety improvement recommendations for clients
• Assist in review of risk for renewable energy projects
• Learn about fire protection standards (local/international)
