The Auditor-General\'s Office (AGO) is an independent organ of state and the national auditor. Our mission is to audit and report to the President and Parliament on the proper accounting and use of public resources to enhance public accountability and help strengthen the financial governance of the public service. AGO conducts various audits and our observations include system weaknesses, non-compliance with control procedures or legislation, and instances of excess, extravagance, or gross inefficiency leading to waste in the use of public funds and resources. We are looking for candidates who possess drive for achievements, excellent analytical abilities, communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities: You will be part of the Procurement & Contracts Audit Department (PCAD) and will assist the Group Director and Audit Director in carrying out audits of procurement, including development/construction projects, by the government ministries, statutory boards and other public entities to ascertain whether procurement was carried out in accordance with the principles, relevant rules and guidelines. Your responsibilities will include performing risk assessment, developing detailed audit plans, executing the audits, and preparing management letters on audit findings. Requirements: a) Singapore Citizen b) Tertiary qualifications in discipline such as Engineering, Quantity Surveying or Project and Facilities Management c) Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in procurement, and/or contracts management/ project management involving development/construction projects or its equivalent d) Familiarity with government procurement policies, rules, guidelines, process, procedures and GeBIZ is preferred e) Possess strong analytical and interpersonal skills, as well as verbal and communication skills. Remuneration and position offered will depend on the candidate\'s qualifications and experience. For applicants with more years of experience, you may be assigned supervisory responsibilities for selected projects where you will need to coach and supervise junior team members. You may also be required to review the audit working papers prepared by your team members to ensure they meet the audit objectives and documentation standards.
