To hunt, identify and engage with potential customers, understanding their specific needs and tailoring solutions to meet their requirements.
To develop long term customer relationships and work with customers on innovative and compelling supply chain solutions
To grow the revenue and profit of CL business by securing new wins and increasing the size and quality of the targets
Responsible to lead and manage RFQ responses for contract logistics.
Maintain synergy with cross-functional relationships with the Solutions & engineering, Operations and IT team.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.
Undertake cross selling and up selling within existing customer base to further develop account potential through contract logistics
Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
Negotiate contracts and terms of agreements, aiming to maximize profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction.
Keep accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions in the CRM system.
Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
Job Requirements
Possess a Degree in Business, Logistics & Supply Chain or related fields
Possess at least 7 years of business development/field sales experience, preferably in the APAC contract logistics market. Past APAC regional exposure will be advantageous.
Willing to do occasional business travel to APAC countries when required
Demonstrate good communication and presentation skills
Proven track record and display drive in meeting sales targets
