Join Roche, where every voice matters.The PositionAPAC Business Lead Near Patient Care - Roche Diagnostics Asia PacificRole Purpose:As the Business Lead, Near Patient Care (NPC), you will be responsible for:Lead the regional NPC team as well as a network of affiliate NPC teams through the Asia Pacific network. \xe2\x88\x99 Develop and implement strategies / initiatives across the APAC region to drive the overall NPC diagnostic business with commercial acumen and innovative approaches.Define an overarching business strategy of the overall performance of NPC business in the APAC region by combining solutions within the current (digital) ecosystem.Make strategic, customer-centric decisions on product / segment launches and build new commercial business models.Stay abreast of trends in the external environment that could impact the business currently and in the future.Propose and articulate vision that creates strategic alignment, mobilize the organization and self-driven to pursue results.Enables a network of senior experts to directly or indirectly influence others to achieve results in a complex environment, potentially operating in above country models.In this role, you will:Represent APAC at a global level via the Solution Portfolio Committee (SPC) to ensure country / regional needs are considered in requirement gathering and portfolio prioritization for portfolio development / investment.Leverage, plan, drive and support product launches through implementation of the Launch Powerhouse (LPH) framework which provides a structured way of commercialization assessment and product launch preparation.Utilize strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of the diagnostic world in the context of overall healthcare market and environment. Have insights into trends or technology that are reshaping markets. Identify how to tap into these trends to streamline performance, become market shapers, grow market share and outperform the competition through the APAC CommunitiesCoordinate the team to ensure effectiveness and cooperation amongst the team members. When necessary drive and support other cross-functional teams within the agile framework and with internal stakeholders across value streams and chapters.Exercise customer-centric business thinking beyond the product / service by evaluating on potential customers and addressing needs from commercial to operational challenges.Responsible for coaching, development and engagement of teams. Responsible for building a high performing team.Report to the APAC Lab & C-Suite Value Stream Lead.Who you are:Experience building and growing laboratory discipline based business required.Proven ability to establish and articulate a vision, set goals, develop and execute strategies, and track and measure results.Proven experience leading teams through collaborative technological innovation in an agile environment or continuous improvement efforts that have yielded tangible results and / or positive impact for patients or business stakeholders.Highly developed leadership and people influencing skills; demonstrated success in establishing a high performing environment, fostering the Roche Operating Principles and APAC Spirit with an excellent reputation attracting the best talent and the commitment to developing and inspiring them.Intrapreneurial mindset with proven ability to incubate and foster agile organizations with a complex, global corporate environment.Familiarity with the technological trends and their relevance to the healthcare industry. A passionate and decisive business leader. Demonstrating courage, vision and drive to achieve results at the forefront of innovative technological changes.Qualification and Experience:Bachelor degree or equivalent in the related field. Advanced degree (Masters, MBA, Medical Degree, PhD) in the related field desired. MBA is an advantage.At least 10 years of work experience in related field is preferred.Proven knowledge and expertise in area of focus and in the Asia Pacific region is preferred due to the job nature.Proven ability to shape business and ecosystems, mobilize needed resources and is outcome-driven.Team management and people development experience and demonstrated courageous authenticity and builds trust with individuals of all levels.Demonstrated passion for and role modelling of VACC leadership, with proven ability to lead with a creative mindset and act as a coach and mentor for others.Location:Preferred location will be Singapore, however other locations within Asia Pacific may also be considered.APAC:This is a diverse region culturally and with respect to business maturity.
