Essential Functions: The APAC PSI Leader will be responsible for establishing alignment between sales and operations strategies to drive fulfillment, network optimization and inventory efficiency. The candidate will demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for the APAC region in partnership with commercial and operations leadership. In addition, utilize their experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, will lead a team and work cross functionally to deliver short-term and long-term business goals. The candidate is responsible for defined work and projects with moderate to high complexity.

  • Provide leadership and strategic direction for the PSI & Planning team and ensure integration with critical business processes / functions
  • Work closely with the APAC Commercial team to understand overall demand and specific market segment needs, and translate into inventory and manufacturing requirements to achieve business commitments
  • Ensure flawless fulfillment through continuously monitoring and managing demand, manufacturing scheduling and material supply flow and processes
  • Lead the creation of detailed plan requirements, utilizing advanced planning tools to optimize customer service levels, inventory, resource utilization, and total costs
  • Continually analyze product source/distribution and implement effective actions that drive cost, service and cash
  • Determine priorities to match available supply to demands to achieve established customer contract obligations and operational business goals
  • Understand and articulate the necessity of the contributions of each department to successfully meet inventory and customer requirements
  • Develop processes, metrics and cross-functional operating rhythms to drive performance
  • Drive business critical projects and process improvements with cross-functional teams
  • Pursue PSI/supply chain functional excellence in all areas and work with a Global PSI framework

Basic Quals:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
  • 5 years minimum experience in supply chain operations or manufacturing

Desired Traits:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Engineering, or Logistics is preferred
  • Prior experience in SI&OP, PSI, logistics or operations is preferred
  • Prior supply chain operations and manufacturing experience
  • Strong customer and results oriented mindset
  • Strong planning, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to foster a team environment and drive change
  • Ability to adapt to / drive change across functions and dynamic business environment
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced and challenging environment
  • Ability to effectively manage changing and conflicting priorities and resolve appropriately
  • Knowledge of and/or development experience with digital planning applications
  • Black Belt Lean/Six Sigma training is preferred
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and leadership skills
