This is a newly create APAC Finance Business Partner position where you will pioneer the business partnering function for a newly acquired business segment.

My client is a global logistics/shipping company that provides integrated services to simplify its customer's supply chain. With presence in all ports around the world, the team is looking for additional resources to support a newly acquired business. This will be an individual contributor Regional Finance Business Partner position.

Description

Reporting to a Senior Finance Director, you will:

• Be the key business partner for APAC Logistics portfolio, developing insights that synergises the Regional leadership team to operations e.g. Product Managers
• Provide guidance and support to the business, challenging assumptions using a data driven approach
• Improving business performance reporting, perform financial analysis and sharing insights with management team on strategies to improve profitability and achieve business objectives
• Support the regional strategic planning and execution of strategic initiatives
• Financial modelling to support investment projects, assess feasibility with actionable plans

Profile

• Degree in Accounting/Business/Finance with at least 8 years working experience
• Industry experience in Shipping/Marine will be highly advantageous
• Independent worker, you are technically strong, highly analytical to generate meaningful financial insights
• Strong business partner to business leaders, able to work in a matrix organisation
• Experience managing APAC portfolio, MNC work exposure
• Business Intelligence tools knowledge, such as Power BI, Tableau
