Koch Engineered Solutions (KES) is seeking an experienced Asia Pacific (APAC) Finance Director / Controller for the Engineering Technology & Services division (ET&S). This position will be based in Singapore and will report to the ET&S Global Controller. As a key member of the ET&S APAC Regional Team, this person will work closely with the ET&S APAC Vice President and his leadership team and the Global ET&S Finance & Accounting (F&A) team to set a vision for success in the region, guide strategic initiatives, and create long-term value. This position will supervise the APAC Regional Controller and extended team of ~10 F&A staff across offices in Australia, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, and China.

What You Will Do

Work closely with ET&S regional and global leaders to drive strategy and optimize profitability Drive ownership of the APAC P&L and balance sheet within F&A and throughout the organization Collaborate the global ET&S Business Finance team to develop market insights and strategies that enhance competitiveness both in the APAC region and around the world Lead KES & ET&S F&A transformation by steering regional initiatives linked to the company's strategy, including: implementing new financial systems, optimizing talent through a combination of local, regional, and global capability teams, and other key projects Develop and retain F&A talent in the APAC region and support the application of Principle Based Management TM Collaborate with other sites to drive consistency in both accounting and management reporting practices Lead and supervise regional F&A operations, working closely with the Regional Controller and direct reports to prepare internal financial reports (statutory, internal and group reporting), and coordinate audits across the various locations. Support all necessary Tax and Audit requirements from tax consultants and statutory auditors for APAC entities, in coordination with the KES team. Support new and emerging requirements for statutory reporting and tax laws in the region in coordination with Company's tax team or with Tax consultants

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Strong leadership skills, experience in accounting, financial analysis, business decision support, or related roles. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite or Office 365; that includes Advanced Excel skills (spreadsheet creation/editing, pivot tables, graphs, data manipulation/analysis and formula creation). Economic thinking skills. Ability to drive application of economic tools/mental models (e.g., marginal analysis, opportunity cost, risk optimization, pricing strategies, capital consumed framework etc.)

What Will Put You Ahead

Application of Principle Based Management TM concepts when leading a diverse team Financial analysis skills in a global / multi-national manufacturing organization. Exposure to different ERP systems and the implementation of new accounting systems and processes in an industrial services or manufacturing environment. Experience in driving organizational transformation and leveraging a global capability model. Experience with data analysis/visualization tools beyond Microsoft Excel (i.e. Power BI). Some exposure to local laws and tax regulations in the region, especially those in China, Singapore, Japan and other large markets in the region. Proficiency in Mandarin will be highly advantageous when collaborating with larger teams in the region, especially those in China.
