We Offer
A specialist of the Structured Loan Servicing team within the APAC Loan Operations function based in Singapore. You will be responsible for the loan processing and maintenance for all APAC Entities. Products include but not limited to syndicated loans (agency/participation) and bilateral loans. As Facility Agent, to liaise with borrowers, lenders and investors on drawdown, rollover, fee payment and repayment. These include sending notices, fixing rates and performing settlements. To attend to queries from borrowers, lenders and investors in a timely manner and to work closely with Front Office, Credit Risk Management and Legal Compliance. As lender/loan participant, to liaise with facility agent on drawdown, rollover, fee payment, repayment, etc. As security agent, to monitor collaterals related to the deals including but not limited to MTM and top up/top down, to track incoming/outgoing cash movements and perform follow up on past due fees and interest, WIP items and nostro/depot breaks during the lifecycle of the loan.

APAC Structured Loan Servicing Operations amalgamates loan operations function for APAC Wealth Management, APAC Financing Group (AFG), Asset Finance, Portfolio Financing and all other Loan Syndication businesses. Team is strategically and functionally responsible for the full spectrum of APAC Structured Lending Operations for Investment Banking division of the bank as Facility and Security Agent. Main function is to maintain all the client portfolio of syndicated and bilateral facilities collaborating with Borrowers, Lenders and all other syndicate members for documentation of primary and secondary trades covering both syndicated and bi-lateral deal structures. Team also collaborates with business stakeholders and support functions for Client On-Boarding, Documentation, Deal Maintenance and Loan Servicing, and Exception management ie team is responsible to liaise with borrowers, lenders and investors on fundings, drawdown, rollover, fee payment, pre/repayment and trade settlements.

You Offer

For the candidate to be successful in the role, he/she needs to be a fast learner and is able to work independently upon completion of training. Transaction processing needs to be performed accurately with no errors and it is important to collaborate with on-shore and offshore teams and escalate to managers to ensure accuracy and timely resolution of queries.

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field. Master\'s degree is preferable.
  • Over 10 years of loan industry expertise within an international financial institution or specialist lender / agent organization.
  • APAC Loan experience for Investment Banking will be preferred.
  • Loan Maintenance experience towards funding drawdowns, rollovers, repayments, pre-payments, rate-fixings, Fees and third party payments, collection of interest, together with daily nostros & past dues and depot position reconciliation.
  • Support and collaborate with onshore for booking and settlement of secondary trades
  • Ability to swiftly liaise with other departments within the bank (front office, middle office back office) as well as external contacts (Borrowers, other Banks, Trustees, etc)
  • Prepare or assist in preparing regular / ad-hoc management and regulatory reports.
  • Knowledge of drafting SWIFT funds transfer message and working Loan IQ experience will be a solid advantage.
  • Working on SOX, Audit requirements and regulatory reporting for offshore locations (MAS, AUSTRAC etc) will an advantage too.
  • Demonstrates sound business judgement and can influence others. Has proven record of accomplishment for strong risk and control management.
  • Strong analytical problem solving skills as well as the ability to inspire change based on data.
  • Can operate in a lean, fast-paced organization under pressure while supporting business growth. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and can communicate and influence at all levels of an organization.
