Responsible for the day to day operational management and execution of GL services, notably Transport Management, Warehouse Management and Shipment Operations, to ensure on-time and cost-effective delivery of product to our customer.
Compliance:
Responsible to ensure that Haleon meets the highest level of global compliance for cross border trade within the supply chain activities of all Business Units (e.g. ES, Sites, Commercial, and CH).
Implementation of Regulation Changes within the Region, by collaborating with Operational teams, GL Cx compliance, internal functions such as Global Tax, Indirect Tax and trade compliance, regulatory, legal and global security services.
Responsible to ensure that processes meet the Haleon, GxP, Safety, Quality and Finance compliance requirements.
Liaise with the wider Haleon business to ensure that the expected standards are delivered. This role has joint accountability for the setting and realization of the targets.
Work with Regional peers to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of programs through the use of leveraging both internal and external resources.
Continuous Improvements and projects:
Support the Continuous Improvement team in delivering Global Logistics committed improvement targets, specifically by bringing a knowledge of manufacturing, warehousing and logistics processes, custom brokerage and guiding and influencing changes.
Support the GL and/or enterprise wide identified projects/programs (for example ERP)
Support/lead commercial related continuous improvement projects
Responsibilities: Operations
Provide operational leadership to the logistics service providers (4PL LCC and others when applicable) to ensure timely collection and delivery of products to customers.
Ensure appropriate communication to sites and customers in case of events impacting the distribution chain.
Managing the operational interface between the 4PL LCC and the HALEON business (sites, MMW, markets, functions), creating effective relationships to enable the 4PL LCC to operate successfully
Responsible for the escalated issue resolution process where not resolvable by the 4PL LCC, providing consistent interface with markets and sites in an operational context.
Drive ongoing improvement of operational performance for all GL services applicable to assigned regions.
Ensure appropriate communication to sites and customers in case of events impacting the distribution chain.
Input/support into Crisis Management, if required.
Responsible for ensuring the GL operations adhere to Haleon Quality Management system, GxP and financial requirements as defined in Global Logistics Policies and Procedures
Collaborate with Operation managers across other areas and/or regions to share and drive operational best practices.
Drive short term (0-3 months) service improvement initiatives, and support, where needed, mid to long term Continuous Improvement (CI) or strategy deployment.
Compliance
Manage day to day operational Compliance issues associated with GL scope.
Creates and maintains internal audit plan and conducts L1 audits across Operations, Participate to Level 2 and level 3 audits as and when required and/or support external audits in collaboration with Quality, Sites, Logistics Service Providers, Legal, Treasury, and Indirect Tax, etc\xe2\x80\xa6
Responsible to ensure that all types of movements (physically and documentation) are in compliance with the national/international regulations (GxP, IATA, CMR, Known Consignor, etc\xe2\x80\xa6) including Dangerous Goods regulations.
Develop policies and processes as required by the business in cooperation with stakeholders (i.e. Quality, CMO, Supply Chain organizations, etc).
Supports Business Units with license management (e.g. controlled drugs, DEFRA, USDA, Export Licences when applicable.
Support tariff information (HS code) and country of origin for FTA benefit evaluation.
Provide all data elements and operational support as required in region to Customs broker and maintain master data base to facilitate border clearance
Support requests for item, customers, trade routes set up data, tariff classification, documentation requirements and country of origin and where applicable to FES team upon request.
Support Customs related activities to ensure compliant with Duty Management Programmes, ensuring sites are audit ready for any Customs inspections.
Manage the process to ensure that HALEON comply with all Export Controls and Sanctions Regulations, Management of the screening process, collating and storing data to evidence that products/customers comply with the Regulations, and HALEON are audit ready. Collaborate with Legal Counsel and Treasury.
Collaborate with GL New Business & Divestments to ensure that licensing and cross border regulatory requirements are known for first export shipments of new products, in-license and merger/acquisition deals.
Use the Global Logistics Risk Register to record risks to HALEON business and actions plans to address them. Maintains CAPA tracker.
Conducts Regulation Watch process to reflect changes impacting HALEON e.g. Commodity code changes.
Notification of Regulation changes through GTCC alert system.
As required, act as Quality Champion for Cx GL Operations
Continuous improvements / Lead or support project delivery:
Support the Regional Continuous Improvement team in delivering the GL committed improvement targets, specifically by bringing a knowledge of manufacturing, warehousing and logistics processes and guiding and influencing changes, when applicable
Represent Global Logistics, Procurement and/or the logistics service providers in all internal process and drive the agenda and the priorities within the organization with involved functions.
Lead project delivery according to the scope and timeline and provide business expertise and influence stakeholders
Suppliers Relationship Management:
As Business Owner, support Procurement in the contract and/or Work Assignment activities
Lead and execute Business Review Meetings with the service providers, when applicable.
Performance management:
As required, accountable for managing the logistics service providers\xe2\x80\x99 performance (service levels, complaints, improvements, etc.) through the use of KPI\xe2\x80\x99s and drive improvement activity associated with the metrics.
Accountable for swift resolution of Deviations / Claims by Collaborating with Site(s), Quality, LSP\xe2\x80\x99s and/or Insurers for the Operations & drive a timely investigation within the LSP\xe2\x80\x99s / Suppliers / HALEON network
Specific to the APAC operation:
Collaborate with APAC markets W&D and supply chain team
Requirements:
3-5 years demonstrated in depth operational experience in international logistics operations
Knowledge of external logistics environment
Extensive knowledge in multi-modals distribution and cross-border regulations
Knowledge of HALEON supply chain, trading partners organizations and sites logistics functions and financial systems
Experience in performance management of 3rd party contracts
Change management skills and ability to construct business proposals
Customer facing / Stakeholder management
Strong leadership backed up by considerable influencing abilities
Excellent interpersonal skills and experience of working in a multi-cultural environment
