The APAC PMO Regional Lead will oversee the management of the PMO Services in the region, ensuring alignment with the overarching objectives of the Global PMO Strategic Objectives.The individual will play a pivotal role in steering the Design & Construction PMO, ensuring governance, assurance, project controls, and process improvements are effectively managed and aligned with the global technology platform and objectives.You\'ll be responsible for:PMO Governance and Assurance:
  • Continue to develop, implement, and manage a PMO governance and assurance framework.
  • Ensure adherence monitoring & controls policies & procedures.
  • Conduct periodic process reviews, health checks, and gateway reviews for PMO projects/programs.
Project Controls and Management:
  • Develop and maintain guidelines and standards for PMO project/program costs and schedules.
  • Ensure all PMO projects/programs are tracked and monitored in accordance with established controls.
  • Oversee and review monthly reporting of costs for major PMO projects/programs.
Resource Allocation and Management:
  • Ensure effective training and onboarding programs for new Project Managers/Coordinators or variable resources supporting understanding of D&C playbook and processes.
Process Improvement and Documentation:
  • Facilitate process documentation and improvement, including playbooks, and project close-out packages.
  • Develop and maintain playbooks documenting standard processes for PMO projects/programs.
Data, Reporting, and Communications:
  • Develop and maintain guidelines on formatting, definitions, and consistency in data and reporting related to PMO projects/programs.
  • Provide key metrics reporting to support data-driven decisions and ensure reporting is automated and integrated where possible.
  • Review power BI dashboard data to drive compliance with governance and assurance routine.
Innovation:
  • Identify and propose innovation opportunities with respect to the PMO services and projects/programs.
  • Implement approved innovation proposals.
  • Support global PMO with alignment to D&C annual objectives and continuous improvement.
Capital Planning and Strategy:
  • Support the capital planning exercise, provide access to benchmark data on schedule and cost.
  • Fortnightly review of CPT for regional activities, drive D&C project teams to align to forecast run rate for funding cycles to mitigate risk.
  • Develop and maintain guidelines for funding of Capital Expenditure Request Proposals (CERPs).
  • Review D&C Corporate CERPs for date integrity, review project & procurement strategy to ensure best value is being proposed by the appointed Project Manager.
PMO Operational Support Team:
  • Oversee the APAC PMO Operational Support Team, who provide centralized project administration and quality control check points for D&C Project & Cost Managers.
  • Work with team on PMO general matters and process i.e. ad hoc items, suppliers, onboarding guide and training initiatives
  • Support Regional Leadership with reporting, including LTS cost reports, invoice reports, bi-weekly updates to global team, monthly D&C management meeting
  • Oversee LTS and Data Centre projects from PMO perspective, including escalation of items and discussions with Controls, GSS, PM delivery teams, D&C leadership
You\'ll also have:
  • Significant stakeholder management in balancing the Global and Regional needs required.
  • Degree level or above in a relevant industry discipline
  • Membership of a relevant professional body preferred
  • 10 to 15 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Corporate Real Estate including leadership and team management roles
