Workload: 100% | 2 months (July-August 2024)Axpo Group is the largest energy company in Switzerland and one of the major European energy trading players, active in 36 countries and more than 45 markets. Axpo Singapore Pte Ltd (AXSG) was established in 2020 to expand Axpo\xe2\x80\x99s reach in Asia, covering LNG, LPG, power, and gas trading. Currently, Axpo Singapore is developing its analytics for its power and gas (derivatives) trading desk. As an APAC Power and Gas Trading Analyst Intern, you will join a dynamic team and a strong company, contributing to the development of APAC power and gas analytics.What you will do:

• Design and prepare power and gas data visualization.
• Automate market data processes.
• Support the maintenance and development of data and tools within our Analytics platform.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and materials for the front office and management.
• Communicate analysis clearly and accurately to traders, other analysts, and relevant stakeholders.
• Effectively convey views and findings to various audiences.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to work under pressure and in volatile market conditions.
• Commercially minded with excellent communication skills.
• Team player with a proactive attitude.
• Proficiency in coding languages such as Python, and data science skills.
• Experience with data analytics in a cloud-based environment (Azure).
• University degree in finance, mathematics, engineering, data/computer science, business analytics, economics, or chemistry.
• Strong coding skills (Python, R, SQL) and proficiency with MS tools such as Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint.
• Fluent in English.
