The Trade Structuring Senior Specialist is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within own job and the business. Typically a small number of people within the business that provide the same level of expertise. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy. Primarily affects a sub-function. Responsible for handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for commercialization & Performance of Receivables finance products in APAC
• Manage and monitor overall performance of Receivables Finance Products in the region, including client experience, pricing, risk and distribution.
• Implement performance improvement strategies inline with global and regional directive
• Familiarity with various types of structured receivables purchase products such as bilateral AR purchase, credit insured structures, risk sharing structures such as distribution finance, portfolio purchase of ARs, ECA backed structures
• Assist sales and relationship managers in building skills needed to identify client need, proposes solutions in line with business objectives.
• Participate in and prepare materials for the Local Country Addendums, attestation and related processes, ensure products are delivered and adhere to all parameters regionally, in line with Global Product Standards and specific requirements for the region.
• Ensuring there are no product gaps internally and aim towards 100% straight through processing by having active co-ordination with O&T and Finance teams
• Collaborate and Participate in/facilitate product discussions with partners in asset distribution, legal, credit risk, operations and systems capabilities to ensure seamless delivery of program expansions.
• Interest in dealing with trade technology and trade systems . Experience in the field of Trade systems and system implementations will be favorable
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
• Partner and assist country product managers on the day to day business, product discussions and specific region needs.
• Responsible for Audits of the product and ensuring its satisfactory closure
• Communicate effectively with clients, Credit Agencies and investors to facilitate complex and structured Trade transactions that have multiple credit attributes and \or multiple parties to the transaction
• Coordinate oversight of the overall operations process to ensure proper execution and minimize operational issues and inefficiencies
• Responsible as one of the members and contributors as the first line of defense from an operational and credit risk management perspective

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience
• Credit, Risk and Trade Product experience
• Intellectual curiosity, analytical and conceptual thinker
• Proactively seeks and develops new opportunities
• Attention to detail and process/analytic mindset
• Ability to build networks and relationships internally and externally
• Familiarity with product development methodologies
• Direct experience in end-to-end project delivery, preferably in product development, and knowledge of various analytical tools including Tableau and Access
• Comfortable with performing data investigations that require a high degree of accuracy with tight timescales
• Ability to create business analysis, troubleshoot data quality issues, and conduct exploratory and descriptive analysis of business datasets
• Ability to structure and break down problems, develop solutions, and to drive to results
• Process Management knowledge with a propensity for detail and comprehensiveness of content
• Ability to collaborate and clearly communicate with team members of an organization
• Project Management skills with experience leading large cross functional initiatives
• Generation of reports and presentations for senior management

Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
