We are looking for a Compliance Officer like you to:
This role is highly visible with opportunities to work directly with senior management across APAC and engage/lead regional projects that provide you with exposures to many areas of the APAC C&ORC functions. It is well-suited to an individual that enjoys solving complex problems, works optimally within cross-functional teams and thrives in a dynamic setting.

\xe2\x80\x93 support the Global Regulatory Development Tracking Project team in the implementation of Thomson Reuters Connect in the APAC region accompanied with a global standard framework and processes for regulatory development tracking and regulatory obligation inventory maintenance.
\xe2\x80\x93 interact with key stakeholders regionally and globally in Compliance and Operational Risk Control (C&ORC).
\xe2\x80\x93 drive consistency in project implementation and run-the-bank processes for RDT and inventory maintenance across the region.
\xe2\x80\x93 support the process of generating relevant regulatory development MI and provide regional oversight.
\xe2\x80\x93 perform assurance work where required, including quarterly control assessments.
\xe2\x80\x93 act as a key program management resource to support APAC C&ORC COS and Head of C&ORC APAC by driving workstreams, helping to define requirements, assisting in the creation of project artifacts and undertaking analysis.
Your team
You\xe2\x80\x99ll be working within the APAC Regulatory Development Tracking team. The team is responsible for monitoring regulatory changes/development and ensuring ownership within divisional and central C&ORC teams for engaging relevant stakeholders, completing impact assessments and defining necessary actions/remediation. Additionally, the team is responsible for monitoring the maintenance of an obligation inventory in jurisdictions where it is a regulatory requirement.
Your expertise
Your expertise :

  • 7 years\' work experience within global financial services organizations, auditing, or consulting firms
\xe2\x80\x93 Experience in reviewing regulatory developments and turning them into tangible actions and deliverables for the Business-Aligned Compliance teams
\xe2\x80\x93 Sound know-how in the analysis of business processes
\xe2\x80\x93 Familiar with the project lifecycle and have experience in handling challenges related to project implementation.
\xe2\x80\x93 Able to communicate effectively (both orally and in writing) to senior executive level downwards -with an approach which is practically-focused and flexible allied with the strong judgment skills required in a control function leadership role.
\xe2\x80\x93 Reliable and resilient (challenging situations and conversations don\xe2\x80\x99t scare you)
\xe2\x80\x93 Able to think on your feet when in pressured situations, whilst being able to communicate concisely
