APAC SNO Manager

Ferring+You

You will be responsible to ensure Demand sensing and review through close collaboration with Area markets to better anticipate future needs and enable flowless supply by feeding the S&OP/MPS processes, ensure Demand process robustness and alignment at global level.

You will be responsible to ensure that all supplies are properly and timely managed by the team from the order placement to the delivery. As a direct point of contact with Area markets, ensure that all critical supply situations are properly managed with the right sense of urgency in order to avoid out of stocks situation while keeping distribution costs under control. Manage the local LSP planning and performance and Lead in conjunction with the central logistic performance team Warehousing and Distribution

Your day at Ferring

  • Ensure the respect of shipment according to the Promise Date by prioritization of production schedule, QA release and coordinate adjustment when needed and applicable, by working closely with Value Stream department and quality organization in order to ship at the date promised and by making monthly analysis
  • Define and implement a standardized Demand Process, tools and KPIs across Areas and countries, applicable for Centrally-Planned/Non-Centrally planned models, and for Intercompany as well as Third Party Customers
  • Ensure covering the Demand Planning part of the S&OP process
  • Central Demand Review with markets, area, global marketing and VSL\xe2\x80\x99s
  • Develop the Demand Dashboards by Area and by product group
  • Build the Demand Dashboards in FG, Semi-FG and API to support the analysis of actual and forecasted sales by market and product group
  • Review of Forecast performance/trend/cannibalization
  • Ensure and participate to Supply OTIF by prioritization of QA release, by Promised Date and shipment date adjustment when needed and applicable, by working closely with Value stream department and quality organization in order to ship at the date promised and by making monthly analysis
  • Enable smooth and efficient communication with markets organizing periodic teleconference calls or when necessary carry out country specific face-to-face meetings
  • Avoid or minimize Out of Stocks situation by running weekly OOS up down communication flow, by making analysis of M&S sales forecasts and local inventory vs. supply plan especially for OOS lines at risk, by taking corrective actions and by deciding on best urgent transportation route including costs aspects
  • Regional Supply chain optimization
  • Troubleshooting by Finding solution and alternative options to solve supply issues in market. Provide good reactivity and maintain sense of urgency.
  • Arbitrate on final decision related to urgent shipment costs
  • Build Global Demand expertise and awareness through trainings across Areas and M&S
  • Area Customer service and Demand Planning team management and development (trainings, motivation, Ferring Dialogues, coordination with other departments.)

  • Master degree (Engineering or Economics), APICS or MBA an asset.
  • At least 5-6 years of experience in Supply Chain Operations preferably in the Pharma. Industry or similar regulated environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Very good knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
  • Solid experience in Sales & Operations planning (S&OP), Purchasing, Legal and Finance
  • Sound business understanding and customer orientation
  • Operative experience within key logistics functions like planning & forecasting
  • Working knowledge of cGMP, GDP
  • Self-driving, team player, effective leader and keen on working in cross-cultural working environment
  • Ability to work in a decentralized organization
  • Good negotiation and communication skills
  • Interpersonal strong influencing skills
  • Ability to drive simultaneously short term issues and long term strategy
  • Fluent in English. French an asset
