Would you like to be part of Amazon\'s commitment to the Climate Pledge and help the World progress to NetZero?As a Senior BD Leader for Sustainability, you will spearhead strategic initiatives, driving the sustainability GTM for APJ. Orchestrating in Area sustainability leads and cross-functional teams, you\'ll align stakeholders and champion cloud solutions that deliver tangible outcomes for customers around sustainability. Your expertise will direct the team to engage executives, qualify opportunities, and facilitate impactful sustainability engagements, leveraging Amazon\'s mechanisms. Cultivating an environment of excellence, you\'ll inspire your team to embrace challenges, think strategically, and deliver exceptional results, shaping the future of sustainability within and beyond the organization.The right candidate will have experience delivering sustainability - climate related, circular economy-based engagements for enterprise customers, and leading high-performing teams. This includes demonstrated experience in developing solutions to customer opportunities and issues, a proven track record of driving multiple simultaneous projects to meet customer business objectives, excellent project management skills, a customer-obsessed and collaborative approach, strong data and metrics bias, a background in corporate sustainability, a good understanding of cloud solutions, and a passion for helping customers transform using cloud technologies.Corporate priorities are shifting to balance economic uncertainty through spending controls while investing in digital transformation initiatives that enable agile, flexible, and sustainable business operations with personalized user experiences. Organizations are increasingly focused on sustainability actions, such as reducing carbon footprints, embracing circular economy models, and implementing environmentally conscious practices. Our customers are leveraging cloud services to achieve industry-focused outcomes supported by value-driven business cases, sponsored by Line of Business (LOB) leaders, C-Suite, and Corporate Boards. This shift is driving customers to do more with less, prioritizing profitability and top-line growth through differentiation and innovation that reduces the customer\'s time to value. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success.   • Build the APJ Sustainability GTM strategy for all Areas.
  • Develop C-suite and line-of-business relationships within customer organizations
  • Work with Sales team to identify and qualify customers opportunities
  • Facilitate thought leadership sessions with customer executive groups
  • Build value propositions/ business cases
  • Train & enable local sales teams to help qualify customers
  • Effectively track and articulate the value of engagements underway, and major wins
  • Work with the Partner team to identify, engage and enable partners who can accelerate our approach to sustainability innovation
  • Conduct customer briefings, present at customer events, further AWS solutions-led thought leadership in the sustainability domain
  • Handle a high volume of engagements and the fast pace of the cloud computing market
About the team
This APJ I GTM Team exist to amplify our current industry efforts across functional teams (e.g. Area field teams, AWSI, WWSO, Partner, Marketing etc.). Aligned to our key industries and sales motions we will work backwards from customer needs with a purpose to drive cross functional stakeholder accountability so we accelerate industry solution adoption, while scaling a consistent experience for our customers and our field.Diverse Experiences

- Strategic thinker with demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Background in developing industry solutions and go-to-market strategies
- Strong executive presence and communication skills
- Willingness to travel extensively across the APJ regionPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience defining strategy and selling into the Telecommunication industry.
- Existing network of CxO contacts within your focus industry
- Entrepreneurial spirit, bias for action, and comfort with ambiguity
