Responsible for developing and maintaining frontend and backend web applications to support Thomson Medical Pte Ltd business functions.Responsibilities. Design, Develop, implement, test, deploy and maintain dynamic web-based solutions. Analyze user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality, develop technical design and programs.. Work actively as a team member to analyse, troubleshoot and resolve application issues. Document and maintain technical design specification. Develop under Agile environment. Develop applications with optimized resources for maximum speed and scalability. Conduct training and application supports to end users and application owners. Assists in control and proper maintenance of internal documents received where applicable.. Provides feedback to HOD about the purchase of products and services supplied by vendors to assist in vendor evaluations.. Covers duties of fellow colleagues in their absence.. Performs any other duties as assigned.Requirements. A recognized diploma or degree in Computing or equivalent. Experience in web application development and Software Development Lifecycle. Good knowledge of Web User Interface Design methodology. Good knowledge with core Java (JDK 1.8), Struts Framework, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript. Knowledge on application server such as Tomcat. Experience with Eclipse IDE or other IDEs. Experience with SQL language such as MS SQL. Ability to learn new web technologies and development tools.
