About Our Client
Our client is an International Financial Institution in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting core banking interfacing applications, data warehouse projects, and day-to-day business requests, while ensuring high-quality deliverable and compliance with operational policies and standards.

• Develop, test, and troubleshoot programs using Java, Shell, PowerShell, and SQL for the financial institution\'s automation software, business requests related to Core Banking interfacing applications, and the Data Warehouse Project as per the Software Requirements Specification.
• Conduct thorough unit testing of software to ensure the quality of deliverables and verify that all requirements are met and signed off before deploying them to the Production environment.
• Provide comprehensive supporting documentation and relevant information to facilitate effective maintenance and support of applications.
• Assist in setting up a source code repository or Build pipeline, utilizing tools like Git or Azure DevOps, to manage version control and streamline the development process.
• Adhere to ITIL processes, including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Release & Deployment Management, and follow operational policies and standards to ensure applications are developed with consistent, maintainable code to support risk and compliance management.

• Proficiency in Java, Shell, PowerShell, and SQL, showcasing a strong technical background and expertise in developing and troubleshooting software programs.
• Atleast 3 years of relevant experience in above technologies.
• Exceptional service-oriented mindset enabling seamless interactions with internal stakeholders and customers.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently multitask, displaying a high level of self-motivation and task management capabilities.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, fostering a cooperative work environment and facilitating effective teamwork with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with ITIL v3, Agile practices, and DevOps methodologies, demonstrating an understanding of best practices for IT service management and software development processes. Additionally, having prior experience or knowledge of Microsoft Azure services would be an added advantage.
