Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Lead technical design and architecture from inception to implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
• Develop and maintain high-quality Java-based applications, leveraging multi-threading principles and recent features.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical solutions, with a focus on scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Mentor and guide development teams in Agile methodologies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and delivery excellence.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, providing insights and recommendations for technology adoption and innovation.
• Lead and participate in technical discussions, reviews, and decision-making processes to drive architectural alignment and maintain architectural integrity.
• Provide technical leadership and support in troubleshooting complex issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on business operations.

Qualifications and Profile:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Programming & Systems Analysis, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of software development experience with expertise in leading technical design from inception.
• Excellent understanding of recent Java features and experience in Java 8 development with multi-threading principles.
• Proficiency in algorithms, data structures, and complexity analysis.
• Experience with SQL Server or any other RDBMS for at least 5 years.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tooling.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to debug complex code.

Good to have:

• Familiarity with Apache Storm/Flink/Spark and cloud computing technologies.
• Experience in parallel processing of message transformation pipelines to fPML, JSON, and key/value formats.
• Proficiency in Kafka publishing/distribution and microservices-based technology.
• Expertise in performance tuning, optimizations, and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Experience with Jira or other issue tracking systems.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficient in the software development life cycle with autonomy to deliver based on best practices.
