An exciting Application Programmer (Murex) job opportunity has just opened up at a global financial services company in Singapore.

About the Application Programmer (Murex) Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of Capital Market applications used worldwide, covering Front Office and Back Office applications

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a technical expertise on Murex application (v2 and v3)
• Optimise end-of-day batch
• Improve STP performance
• Manage Murex services
• Process and issue daily, weekly and monthly reporting on data quality of risk chain in which the activity is usually more intense on monthly run
• Analyse enhancement requests and bug fixes
• Apply monthly release strategy, following the team\'s milestones for analysis, coding and testing
• Support the release roadmap in production
• Operations management
• Application support, level 3 (expert)
• Troubleshoot and fix issues
• ITRS Geneos monitoring implementation
• Solve recurrent incidents
• Collaborate with build team to assess the priority of problems and follow-up the resolution, even contributing to the definition of long term solutions
• CI/CD implementation
• Process improvements
• Coach more junior team members as required
• Maintain programmable code outlined in technical instructions and specifications for software applications

To succeed in this Application Programmer (Murex) role, you must have minimum three to four years\' experience in Murex development and support.

Key Requirements:

• At least three years\' experience on MUREX software
• Murex Datamart - Workflow - RTBS - architecture - Market Risk module, EOD batch, Control M, ITRS Geneos, SQL, UNIX, CI/CD tools
• Understanding of trade life cycle, financial products (BONDS, CDS)
• Very good communication skills and keen to work with business users
• Autonomous, pro-active, cooperative mindset
• Readiness to work in shift for ASIA or EMEA region: (9am - 6:30pm SGT) (3pm - midnight SGT). On-call rotation with team mates to cover night and weekend support
