Each of our ingredients responds to unique and essential needs, and they enable healthier lifestyles.Position PurposeTo support the Food & Protein business growth for Greater Asia region focusing on SEA and ANZ with application work in the Bakery and Confectionery Area. In addition to that, to support technical development role for Indonesia and global accounts in the region.Key Accountabilities(a). Bakery & Confectionery Scientist

• Lead and coordinate application studies in Bakery and Snacks segment, to demonstrate/evaluate functional value of our solution (current product, range extension and NPD).
• Develop application solutions to support customer needs, based on scientific evidence, structure/ function value relation
• Ensure the right level of support vs business opportunities in collaboration with marketing (MTP)
• Create, and animate training for customers and/or go to market resources
• Due diligence in keeping trial records with proper documentation to facilitate innovation and protect the value through patenting of our solutions
• Participate in customers trials, with a high degree of technical challenge.
• Deliver technical seminars on product and solutions at customer\xe2\x80\x99s and large group settings.
• Manage operation and development of SOP of machine and equipment related to segment.
• Contribute to a safe and environmentally friendly workplace and comply with Roquette\xe2\x80\x99s safety policies and SOP

(b). Technical Developer for Indonesia

• Oversee technical support to Indonesia direct customers by providing technical solutions and develop projects with them
• Contribute to the Roquette Indonesia sales strategy in collaboration with local sales managers, scientist and marketing.
• Lead the tactic on the technical support, in close collaboration to sales, through a strong technical knowledge of our solution to the market ensuring the creation and the development of new opportunities and technical trouble shooting.
• Support Roquette promotional campaign to customers in coordination with sales, application and marketing.
• Ensure technical support in innovation process at customer through collaboration with customers when requested
• Create and lead the technical action plan link to the commercial strategy.
• Pilot through Salesforce tool its technical business opportunities portfolio, setting priorities if needed and ensuring the healthiness of it to grow a sustainable business

(c). Technical Develop support for Global Account (SEA & ANZ)

• Work with Global Technical Developers and local Key Account Manager to provide technical support to global accounts in the region.
• Define, manage and run technical training to global accounts in collaboration with the application team in the region.
• Support Innovation Days/Supplier Challenge/Events with global accounts via planning, discussion and execution
• Communicate on a regular basis with Global Technical Developers to discuss and manage the accounts from the technical perspective and report all activities in Salesforce tool.

Qualifications / Requirements- Master in Food Science, Food Engineering, Food Chemistry or equivalent- 10 to 15 years of food industry experience or food ingredient technical sales experience with strong interpersonal skills in transmission and commercial sense- Strong business acumen: understand how MNC works and to makes sense in complex organization- Strong collaboration skills: ability to work effectively in transversal and international team environment including external stake holders- Understanding of ingredients and usage, interactions and processing.- Have large ingredient baking experience (excluding flavors) for min 6 years: dry biscuits, coextruded, sponge cake, fillings (water based, fat based), crackers- Strong communication skills

• Delivers message in a clear and compelling manner
• Actively listens and check for understanding
• Effective presentation skills and able to address big group presentations
