The application specialist job responsibilities include planning, executing, and developing applications and managing integration between applications and systems throughout the Company.

Responsibilities

Responsible for application & integration deliverables Design, configure and implement integration flows focusing on use of industry reference architectures and best practices Design, develop and implement application and integration solutions for hybrid IT landscape Document and maintain integration services and interface specifications Lead integration tests in both functional and non-functional scenarios Develop proof-of-concepts for new application and integrations Identify and resolve integration tickets with vendors and internal IT teams Document technical guidelines to represent integration design patterns, code templates and use case scenarios Develop and implement extraction, transformation and loading for data integration Provide subject matter expertise to both IT and business colleagues

Requirements

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent Strong critical thinking, problem solving and communication skills Strong knowledge in application frameworks design and implementation (REST, SOAP, JDBC/ODBC, JMS, SQL) Minimum 3 years of experience in application integration using any integration suite such as Workato, Tibco, MuleSoft, Informatica etc Proficient in development and conversion methodologies, .Net, Java, Apex, XSLT, JSON, XML and EDI formats. Proficient in the design and development of APIs and services using various integration tools/frameworks Proficient in performance optimization of interfaces testing with tools (Postman, Swagger, SoapUI, etc) Experience in database engineering using MSSQL development * Experience in low code application platforms and cloud services would be an added advantage
