Job Description

As an Application Specialist, you will design and develop next-generation cloud-native and AI-powered core banking platforms, driving digital transformation across financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design and build cloud-native, AI-driven core banking applications. Manage technical deliverables across sprints -- including design, development, testing, and release management. Ensure application quality, performance, security, and compliance with certification and regulatory standards. Integrate AI/ML models and data-driven insights into applications to enhance functionality and decision-making. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement scalable microservices and cloud-native architectures. Leverage DevOps, MLOps, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient, standardized, and automated development processes. Conduct technical reviews and maintain comprehensive documentation (functional, technical, and user guides). Evaluate emerging technologies in Cloud, AI, and FinTech domains to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Minimum 10 years of experience in the technology industry, including at least 3 years in software development leadership. Proven experience in banking or FinTech domains such as Core Banking, Cards, or Payments. Strong background in Java microservices development (Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring Cloud). Deep understanding of cloud-native architecture and AI integration patterns. Hands-on experience with - Cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure, or AliCloud; Data and messaging: Apache Kafka / Confluent; Containerization: Kubernetes / OpenShift; DevOps & MLOps: CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, Jenkins, Docker; Databases: Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other open-source databases; AI/ML Tools (preferred): TensorFlow, PyTorch, Vertex AI, Azure ML, or AWS SageMaker Familiarity with API management, event-driven architecture, and serverless computing. Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and modern software design principles. Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and changing business requirements. * Certifications in Cloud, AI/ML, or Enterprise Architecture are an advantage.
